I went to check out art-la this weekend. Overall, it was a pretty impressive show. However, this piece I found particularly interesting. It’s all record sleeves with all of the graphics sanded off except the eyes. It has a great textural quality, and is very haunting at the same time. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the name of the artist. I will try and track down his/her name so I can give proper credit.

Back a while ago I was one of the winners of an art competition. A limited edition print of the painting was released today. I have seen the proofs, and they looks awesome. It is printed on a really nice heavy-duty archival paper. You can pick up your copy here.
I have a show scheduled for March 28th at Found Gallery. You can check out the gallery here. The show will be up until the end of April. We are still working out all the details so stay tuned for more info on the opening.
