I’m going to be in this benefit show at Royal/T in Culver City on May 15th. It should be pretty cool… a bunch of LA artists are going to have pieces in it. More info as I get it.

The Fresah Start opening was tonight, and there was a huge turnout. Here’s a few pics from the of the show.

As promised here are a couple of shots of the new installation I have up at POVevolving gallery in Los Angeles. Swing by and check it out if you are around Chinatown.

Me and my studio-mate Derek Albeck got a last minute invite to put a few pieces in the back room at POVevolving Gallery (The front room is new work from artist Sonny Kay). I hung a couple of paintings, and did a brand new installation. I will have some new photos soon, but for now here’s a shot of the opening (which had a huge turnout & a DJ set by Cedric Bixler of The Mars Volta). Just got the flyer for the event . Looks like it will be a pretty fun night. Tickets are also ten bucks cheaper if you buy in advance. You can get all the info over at their website.

I was invited to participate in the Fresh Start art show this February. It is an exciting one-night sale of paintings, works on paper, and photography to benefit therapeutic art programs for at-risk youth. 50% of art sales go to the charity Para los Niños, so it should be a pretty awesome night. There will be food and drinks etc. I will have more info soon, but for now check out their website here. (They still have the site for last year’s event up, but I am sure that will change soon.)
